Greg Ibach, Executive Director
Greg Ibach, Executive Director for CERO, has a decades-long career in agricultural policy, prioritizing the health and productivity of our farms above all else.
​
Previously, Ibach served as Director of the Nebraska Department of Agriculture from 2005 to 2017, helping farmers navigate ever-changing regulations, providing resources such as the latest scientific research, connecting Nebraska products to consumers, and ensuring farmers are good stewards of the land.
​
Following that role, Ibach was nominated and confirmed as the Under Secretary for Marketing and Regulatory Programs at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, overseeing policy development and day-to-day operations of the department’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service and Agricultural Marketing Service.
Most recently, Ibach has accepted an invitation from his alma mater, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, to serve as Under Secretary in Residence for the college’s Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
